By accessing and using the Medal Madness virtual race platform ("Platform"), operated by Destination Training / LW Creative ("Company"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not register for or participate in any Medal Madness events.

These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and participants of the Platform.

By registering, you confirm that:

• You are at least 18 years of age, or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
• You are physically capable of participating in the activity for which you have registered.
• You have consulted with a physician if you have any medical conditions, disabilities, or concerns that may affect your ability to safely participate.

I, the participant, acknowledge and understand that participation in virtual races and physical exercise activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to:

• Physical injury, illness, or death
• Cardiovascular or orthopedic complications
• Environmental hazards (weather, terrain, traffic) associated with outdoor activities
• Equipment failure or malfunction

In consideration of being permitted to participate in Medal Madness events, I hereby voluntarily waive, release, and discharge Medal Madness, Destination Training, LW Creative, their officers, directors, employees, agents, volunteers, sponsors, and successors (collectively "Released Parties") from any and all claims, damages, losses, or liabilities arising out of or related to my participation, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.

I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from any claims, damages, or expenses (including attorneys' fees) arising from my participation or my breach of these Terms.

Medal Madness is not a medical organization. Nothing on this Platform constitutes medical advice. You should consult with a licensed physician before beginning any exercise program, especially if you have any pre-existing health conditions, are pregnant, or have been previously sedentary.

Participation is entirely at your own risk. If you experience pain, shortness of breath, dizziness, or any other concerning symptoms during activity, stop immediately and seek medical attention.

Participants are required to log all activities through the Medal Madness platform and submit screenshots from a recognized fitness tracking app (Strava, Garmin, Apple Fitness, Fitbit, etc.) as proof of completion.

• All submitted screenshots must clearly show your name, date, and distance.
• Activities must be completed during the stated event window.
• Medal Madness reserves the right to reject submissions that do not meet verification standards.
• Any attempt to submit fraudulent or falsified activity data will result in immediate disqualification and forfeiture of entry fees.

All registration fees are processed securely through Stripe. By registering, you agree to the payment terms presented at checkout.

• Refund Policy: Registration fees are non-refundable once payment has been processed, except where required by applicable law.
• If an event is cancelled by Medal Madness, a full refund or credit will be issued.
• Champion Package shirt orders are final once submitted. Size exchanges may be accommodated on a best-effort basis before shipping.

Physical medals and certificates are awarded upon successful completion of the stated race distance within the event window. Finisher status is granted at the sole discretion of Medal Madness upon review of submitted activity proof.

Digital finisher certificates are available immediately upon completion approval. Physical awards will be shipped to the address on file within 4–6 weeks of the event window closing.

By creating an account, you consent to Medal Madness collecting and using your name, email address, location, and activity data to operate the Platform, deliver awards, and communicate about your participation.

• Your name and general location may be displayed on public leaderboards and the community page.
• We will not sell your personal information to third parties.
• Photos uploaded to the gallery may be used for promotional purposes on the Medal Madness website and social media. You retain copyright but grant Medal Madness a non-exclusive license to display submitted photos.

You may request deletion of your account and data by contacting us directly.

All participants are expected to engage with the Medal Madness community respectfully. We reserve the right to remove any user from the Platform who:

• Submits fraudulent activity data
• Engages in harassment or abusive behavior toward other participants
• Violates any applicable law in connection with their use of the Platform

All content on the Medal Madness Platform, including race names, logos, course descriptions, and digital assets, is the property of Destination Training / LW Creative and may not be reproduced without prior written consent.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Released Parties shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform or participation in any event. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to register for the applicable event.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Alachua County, Florida.

Medal Madness reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will notify registered users of material changes by email.
